1. (S) Ambassador delivered reftel points on October 27 to
Pehin Zainuddin Jalani, Chief of Police of Brunei and head of
Brunei's delegation to the Interpol meeting. Zainuddin was
well briefed on the issue, telling the Ambassador that both
sides are strong and adament on their respective positions.
Zainuddin was non-committal on how Brunei would vote in
Morocco, saying only that the GoB would listen to what both
sides have to say.
