Expert-Counsellor Alexandros Katsanis. Patakias thanked us
for the points, emphasized the importance of the ODIHR
observation mission, and said Greece would consider the
points "carefully." He made no commitment that Greece would
raise this directly with the Russians, but said Greece will
support whatever "coordinated response" the EU manages to
develop. Katsanis termed the Russian actions "a big
problem," and noted that Greece will be providing a small
amount of monitors for the mission.
