(SBU) Polmil Chief provided MFA senior Non-proliferation
official Dionyssios Kyvetos the text of the U.S./Italy Host
Country Agreement, per ref A. Kyvetos expressed appreciation
for the text, and said MFA lawyers would find it helpful. He
also took note of ref A points about the text. Kyvetos --
who is working full-time on the Missile Technology Control
Regime (MTCR) plenary hosted by Greece this coming week --
was unable to confirm whether Greek experts will be a
position to discuss the most recent U.S. draft HCA with CWC
experts on the margins of the Chemical Weapons Convention
Conference of States Parties. We recommend that U.S. experts
seek out the Greeks in The Hague and engage them on the issue.
