1. The Government of Madagascar and the Government of the Comoros
provided the following information on the attendance of their
officials at the 62ND UN General Assembly (UNGA). Post is providing
the information in the format requested in ref A.
2. The delegation from Madagascar will be comprised of the
following members:
A. There is no mention of attendance of the Head of State on the
diplomatic note. However during the presentation of the Ambassador's
credentials today President Ravalomanana indicated that he would
indeed be attending. Post will provide updates as information
becomes available.
B. There is no mention of attendance of the Head of Government.
C. Attendance of the Foreign Minister:
-- His Excellency Marcel RANJEVA, Minister of Foreign Affairs born
on January 15, 1944.
