1.(U) Per reftels U.S. Embassy Ankara dispersed U.S. Dollars
19,962.00 to the Van Women's Shelter, in accordance with the
Grant Agreement, dated September 9, 2005, between the USA and
the Women's Counseling Center in Van, Turkey. The funds were
spent in their entirety by the Van Women's' Shelter.
2. (U) The award number was: TU-150-05-GR-056.
The project title/description was: To provide a women's
shelter for refugee and asylum-seeker women in Van, Van
Women's Association, Van, Turkey.
The cost of the grant was: U.S. Dollars 19,962.00.
The award period was: From 10-01-2005 through 09-30-2006.
The Appropriation number was: 19X1143.6.
Allotment: 3280.
Date of Allotment: 7/13/05.
3. (U) The funds were used to build a shelter in Van, Turkey
for women refugee and asylum-seekers.
