1. (SBU) Post requests the Department's assistance in screening the
following Ethiopian military or government candidates who have been
nominated for a USG-sponsored seminar, pursuant to the Leahy Act and
Foreign Assistance Act. Post has no derogatory information.


2. (SBU) The candidates have been nominated to attend an East
African Counterterrorism Seminar from 4-9 November 2007.
