1. Econchief delivered reftel demarche to MFA Director of
International Cooperation Yacoub Al-Hosani on April 25.
Al-Hosani said that the UAE would be represented at the
Prepcom by an interagency delegation, led by Anwar Saleem,
the Deputy Director of the Office of International
Cooperation. Econchief highlighted U.S. priorities for the
prepcom and provided non-paper and background information.
Al-Hosani stated that he would need to review the materials,
before making any substantive reply.
