1. (SBU) Poloff delivered reftel points to Director, North
Americas Desk and to Romana Olujic, Deputy Head of the Human
Rights Department, MFA on April 26. Olujic responded that
she expected the GoC to continue to support the Third
Additional Protocol in June. She said that she was actively
pushing an interagency procedure to secure governmental
approval for the GoC to sign the Third Additional Protocol,
and was hopeful of completing this procedure before the June
meeting.
