1. (SBU) Poloff delivered reftel papers on March 3 to Sanja
Bujas-Juraga, Director for International Security Programs,
MFA. Bujas-Juraga welcomed receiving the input prior to the
Warsaw meeting and said she would review them carefully.
2. (SBU) Bujas-Juraga said that she would brief interested
parties on the upcoming joint military-law enforcement
exercise Croatia is hosting March 27-31. ARIEX is sponsored
by the U.S. DoD's DTRA and involves participants from Albania
and Macedonia, controllers from the U.S. and Poland, as well
as observers from Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and
Hercegovina, and other neighboring states. Although not
technically a PSI event, Bujas-Juraga said that she would
report that the GoC saw this exercise in the framework of PSI
and supporting PSI principles.
