1. (SBU) On July 10, Poloff delivered reftel invitation to
Llewellyn Roberts, Pandemic Planning Advisor, Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT),and on July 19 to MFAT
representatives with the Americas Division and the United
Nations, Human Rights and Commonwealth Division, which is the
division responsible for issues related to multilateral fora.
On July 19, Poloff also delivered the invitation to Dr.
Andrea Forde, Senior Public Health Advisor, Ministry of
Health (MOH) and to Marlene Castle, Scientific Analyst,
External Assessments Bureau, Department of Prime Minister and
Cabinet (DPMC).
2. (U) On July 27, Jo Horrocks; Project Manager; National
Emergency Planning, Risk and Assurance; Ministry of Health
responded that GNZ will not be sending anyone to attend the
APEC Seminar because of time and budget constraints.
3. (SBU) MOH will represent GNZ at Australia's Exercise
Cumpston in October, Horrocks said.
