We delivered ref A fact sheet on U.S. financial assistance
committed for Afghan reconstruction to the MFA's Ginte
Damusis, Ambassador at Large for Afghanistan, and Dainius
Kamaitis, Head of the Asia and Pacific Division. We will
report any comments we receive. Kamaitis previously
indicated (ref B) that Lithuania will not pledge additional
assistance to Afghanistan at the London conference.
