1. We delivered reftel points June 6 encouraging interested parties
to submit comments as part of the National Telecommunications and
Information Center's (NTIA) public consultation process on the role
of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN)
to the GOL's Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) and the
Infobalt Association.
2. Vygandas Vaitkus, head of CRA's Legal Application Division, told
us on June 12 that he appreciated the information and promised to
distribute it throughout his agency. Vilma Misiukioniene,
Infobalt's EU Affairs Manager, told us on June 14 that her office
participates regularly in meetings with ICANN representatives. She
said she would distribute our points among her contacts in
Lithuania.
