1. (U) Per Reftel, Embassy Vienna's Point of Contact for the
Blue Lantern Program is Economic-Political Officer Dayna
Robison, Embassy tel: 43-1-31339-2196, fax: 43-1-31339-2916,
email: robisondr(at sign)state.gov. Embassy POC had a
consultation meeting with PM/DTCC before her arrival at Post
and has reviewed the Blue Lantern program handbook.

2. (SBU) After receiving a Blue Lantern action request,
Embassy Vienna works immediately to schedule an appointment
with the subject firm. In our experience, meetings usually
take place within one or two weeks, depending on the location
of the firm in Austria. Embassy POC also works closely with
DHS/ICE officers at Post to vet the subject firm. Post
recognizes the time sensitivities of the licensing process
and reports its findings to PM/DTCC as soon as possible.
