(C) On April 13, Ambassador asked MFA Director General for 
the Americas and Asia Ghazi Jomaa for an update on Tunisian 
assistance to Afghanistan. Jomaa informed the Ambassador 
that the Afghan Government had approached the GOT for 
reconstruction assistance in the areas of education, police 
training, tourism and the judiciary. The GOT, according to 
Jomaa, is in discussions with the GOA to see how they might 
help in these areas. Jomaa claimed that there is already a 
Tunisian judge in Kabul assisting with the court system.
