(C/NF) In a August 19 call on MFA Americas Deputy Director 
Moez Sinaoui, Sinaoui confirmed to Pol/EconCouns that the GOT 
does still have financial claims against Iraqi Airlines for 
the long-term stroage of four Iraqi Airways aircraft in 
Tunisia (Ref B). Sinaoui reiterated the GOT's previously 
stated position that the GOT views this issue as a bilateral 
matter to be resolved between Tunisia and Iraq. Sinaoui 
expressed satisfaction that the Iraqi government had 
designated a British accounting firm (NFI) to "deal with us" 
on this issue.
