Attach conveyed reftel demarche to Ministry of Foreign
Affairs International Counterterrorism Cooperation Division
Deputy Director Miyako Ishimura and Ministry of Finance Legal
Office Deputy Division Chief Shunichi Fukushima on December
7, 2006. Both contacts noted that the Government of Japan has
not designated Hizballah as a terrorist entity, but both
thanked Emboffs for the information.
