(SBU) We delivered reftel points on the International
Partnership on Avian and Pandemic Influenza to MFA EU
Coordination Division officer (and GOE coordinator for
COREPER 1 issues) Kaie Kork on April 4. Kork was unaware of
the changes being proposed by the EU for the Vienna IPAPI
meeting. She understood that the EU was primarily concerned
with ensuring that there was no duplication of efforts on AI.
Kork promised to forward gist of our concerns to MFA AI
point person Counselor Sulev Kannike (currently in Brussels).
