dated December 27, 2006 addressed to H. E. Mr. George W.
Bush, President of the United States of America, from H.
E. Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves, President of the Republic
of Estonia. Following is the text of the letter:
Dear Mr. President,
It was with deep sorrow and grief that I learned of the
death of Gerald Ford, 38th President of the United
States of America.
On behalf of myself and the people of Estonia, I would
like to express our sincere condolences to the American
people as well as to the family and loved ones of Gerald
Ford. Our thoughts are with you in mourning.
We will always remember President Ford as a highly
recognized statesman and an active, brilliant and
reform-minded politician.
