re-election of Professor Ruth Wedgewood as the U.S. candidate
for the U.N. Human Rights Committee to MFA State Counselor
for Multilateral Affairs Svetlana Geleva on May 26. The MFA
responded on June 3, via diplomatic note, that the GOM would
support the candidacy of Wedgewood at the U.N. Human Rights
Committee elections on September 7 in New York.
