REF: STATE 66895
1. Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has had observer status in
the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) since 1994.
BiH does not require participation in, or cooperation with,
the Arab League Boycott (ALB) or other international
boycotts. The BiH government does not, as a matter of
policy, practice or contract, request that U.S. firms comply
with boycott requirements or provide information regarding
such compliance. No supplies, vendors, service suppliers
etc. with whom pos does business are known to comply with
the ALB r other international boycotts. Post has confirmed
with BiH officials at the Ministry of Foreign Trde and
External Relations (MoFTER) that boycott aws currently do
not exist in BiH. The government does not maintain an ALB
office. Bosnian state level enforcement capacities on a
number of levels are nascent. The government's ability to
either enforce, or prevent enforcement of boycotts, is
limited at best.
