(SBU) On December 18, poloff spoke with MFA Director of
Multilateral Affairs Mario Rivera to thank him for El
Salvador's "yes" votes on the substance of this year's Human
Rights Resolutions and to request continued support for the
UNGA Plenary votes. Rivera responded that the GOES would not
normally change a position between a Committee and Plenary
vote and thus we could count on their continued support for
the Iran and Belarus Resolutions.
