SPECIFIC RESOLUTIONS

(SBU) On November 7, Ambassador delivered Reftel A demarche
to FM Lainez, urging support for the country specific
resolutions. At a later meeting, working level contacts
indicated to poloff that the GOES would probably support some
of the country specific resolutions but was still studying
them. On November 8, A/DCM delivered reftel B points to
Mario Rivera, Director of Multilateral Affairs at the MFA,
who did not have an immediate reaction. Post will continue
to follow up on both items and press for GOES support of the
USG positions.
