Assistant Legal Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Borja indicated that she would review the situation regarding
the OAS Optional Protocol, and discuss the matter with Legal
Director Ana Elizabeth Villalta upon Villalta's return.

ratified the original OAS Convention on Mutual Assistance in
Criminal Matters, but has neither signed nor ratified the
