(C) Ambassador Barclay spoke with Foreign Minister Lainez on
May 31st about the upcoming OAS GA and possible Venezuelan
disruptions (reftel). Minister Lainez said El Salvador would
be supportive of the USG request to not allow proposed
language by Venezuela and expressed interest in coordinating
a message with the Secretary. Embassy forwarded this
information to WHA/CEN by email. Embassy is following up at
staff level with the Foreign Ministry's Office of
Multilateral Affairs.
