1. (C) Mrs. Minerva Cabel (strictly protect),wife of
arrested Filipino Christian pastor Francisco Cabel (strictly
protect),informed Poloff May 29 that her husband was
released May 25 (reftels). She stated that the SAG had given
her husband one month before they will deport the entire
family.


2. (C) Comment: Mrs. Cabel was clearly relieved that her
husband had been released, but was hesitant to convey to
PolOff any details concerning her husband's detention. When
PolOff inquired if Mr. Cabel was available to meet, she
responded, "He is busy." End Comment.
