1. (SBU) Poloff met with Czech MFA Middle East Department
official Silvia Sulaimanova on December 1 to discuss the
upcoming Iranian elections and deliver reftel. Consistent
with the Czech government's consistent support for U.S.
policy on Iran generally, Sulaimanova confirmed that the
Czechs regard the upcoming Iranian elections as fundamentally
flawed for the reasons enumerated in reftel.
