1. In response to reftel A, Czech MFA Deputy Director of
Multilateral Economic Relations Jaroslav Stepanek confirmed
his government's support for the U.S. candidate to the
International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Council during
the November Plenipotentiary Conference in Turkey. The
Czechs also promised support for Mrs. Julie Napier Zoller to
the ITU Radio Regulations Board (reftel B). The Czech
delegation will be headed by Ministry of Informatics
Telecommunications Director David Stadnik.
