1. (SBU) On February 14, Poloff delivered reftel message
to Charlambos Hadjisavvas, who follows Middle Eastern issues
in the MFA's Office of Bilateral Affairs. Hadjisavvas
stressed that Cyprus' policy towards Iraq was broadly in line
with that of the EU and the United States. He also confirmed
Cyprus' continued support for international efforts to
stabilize Iraq.
