1. The Niger Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a diplomatic
note to post on August 10, informing us of the composition of
the Government of Niger's (GON) delegation to the opening of
UNGA. The note did not/not request meetings on the sidelines
of UNGA. The information below conforms to the standard
format contained reftel:
A. Attendance of the Head of State: The Head of State has no
plans to attend.
B. Attendance of the Head of Government: The Head of
Government has no plans to attend.
C. Attendance of the Foreign Minister:
NAME AND TITLE: Madame Aichatou Mindaoudou, Minister of
Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and African Integration. Chief
of Delegation.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE DATES: TBD
SPOUSE TRAVEL: NO.
INTERPRETATION: Yes. The Foreign Minister understands English
well, but would prefer to speak in French.
D. Attendance of other VIPs: No other VIPs will attend.
E. Attendance of the Foreign Ministry official responsible
for IO affairs:
NAME AND TITLE: Madame Sandi Sahadi Abdou: Director for
United Nations and International Organizations, Niger
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
