During a January 20 meeting, Foreign Minister Norman Caldera
told the Ambassador that he is a strong proponent of both
institutional and administrative reform in the U.N. Caldera
offered full support for the USG positions on both management
reform and the Human Rights Council, assuring that he will
instruct the GON delegation to consult with USUN on tactics
and to see where Nicaragua could be helpful.
