Security Policy staffer Zorica Bukinac Cimpersek. Cimpersek
responded that Slovenia had no opposition to the beginning of
an Intensified Dialogue (ID) with Georgia, but cautioned that
Georgia should not be lumped in the same category as current
Membership Action Plan (MAP) countries such as Croatia,
Macedonia, and Albania. Cimpersek agreed that the purpose of
ID was to lay out to NATO aspirants the standards and
requirements for future membership, and therefore noted that
Slovenia was generally supportive of ID for Georgia.
