On March 9, the Gabonese cabinet decided that Gabon would
participate in France's "Financing for Development"
initiative by levying a 2 euro tax on business and first
class tickets for international flights originating in Gabon.
Gabon was already signed up as a member of the Leading Group
on Solidarity Levies.
