1. (C) PolOff delivered April 26 reftel demarche and talking
points to Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chief of Staff Jacques
Djoli. Djoli said the GDRC would welcome any assistance NATO
could provide the AU, particularly in the form of logistical
support. Djoli added that the AU does not have the means or
capacity to fulfill the AMIS mission and consequently needs
NATO's help to resolve the situation in Sudan.
