1. On June 6 Post delivered the country narrative on Nepal
from the 2006 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report as well as
the demarche information in reftel to Under Secretary Shankar
Bairagi, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Joint Secretary
Shyam Sunder Sharma, Ministry of Women, Children and Social
Welfare. Both Ministries confirmed receipt. Embassy PAS
also placed an adapted version of the IIP global op-ed
regarding the TIP Report in the Nepali-language "Annapurna
Post" (circulation 65,000) under the Ambassador's byline on
June 6.
