1. Embassy Kabul welcomes John Lis, Francis Miko, and
Kenneth Katzman, Professional Staff Members, House
International Relations Committee (HIRC);Robert Lawrence and
Thomas Ross, Professional Staff Members, Office of the
Speaker (SPKR); Keith Schultz, USAID, and grants country
clearance for their visit to Afghanistan from February 26 to
March 02, 2006, to conduct an on-site assessment of the
Parliament to determine its suitability for inclusion in
House Democracy Assistance Commission Programs and to discuss
potential areas for cooperation. Control Officer is Carolyn
Coberly, Political Officer, email address:

number 011-937-990-79298. All travelers should bring USG ID
for identification purposes and to obtain an Embassy ID.
2. Embassy Kabul will provide transportation, security
escorts and lodging.
3. Embassy Kabul is arranging seats for Staffdel travel in
the UNHAS flight from Dubai to Kabul.
3. Post assumes travelers have TS security clearance unless
notified otherwise.
4. Post recommends all travelers to review information about
traveling to Kabul on post's website: http://kabul.state.gov.
