1. Embassy Kabul welcomes Ryan McCarthy, Professional Staff
Member, House International Relations Committee and Bart
Forsyth, Deputy Chief Counsel, House International Relations
Committee, and grants country clearance for their visit to
Afghanistan on August 7-8, 2006, to evaluate Counter
Narcotics Training in Afghanistan and Counter Terrorist
Training and discussions with Defense, Oil and Intelligence
Ministries. Control Officer is Idris Rahimi, Political

travelers should bring USG ID for identification purposes and
to obtain an Embassy ID.
2. Embassy Kabul will provide transportation, security,
escorts and lodging.
