1. Per consultation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, and the
Guyana Customs and Trade Administration, Guyana does not
have any laws on record to implement the Arab League Boycott
(ALB),nor are Israeli products denied market access. The
GOG does not maintain an Arab League Boycott office.


2. Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Manzoor
Nadir, attended the December OIC meeting in Mekkah Al
Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia. However, in his statement upon
returning from the meeting, issued by the Government
Information Agency, he made no mention of boycotting Israel,
and Guyana took no additional action to implement the
boycott.

3. Post is unaware of any instances of U.S. firms being
required to comply with the ALB.
