Padraig Mac Coscair, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)
First Secretary for UN/International Terrorism and Illicit
Drugs. Mac Coscair committed to circulate the information to
the Irish Central Bank and Departments of Finance and Justice
and to contact Post if the GOI knew of any activities in, or
connections to, Ireland involving the individuals/entities
concerned. He also noted that any decision by Irish
authorities to freeze assets that these individuals/entities
might have in Ireland would have to track with the EU
Clearinghouse process.
