(C) In response to State 68575, CDA spoke with Foreign
Affairs Adviser, Reaz Rahman, to ask that the BDG make a
stronger commitment not to support Iran,s candidacy to the
UN Human Rights Council at the May 9 elections in the UN
General Assembly in New York. Although Rahman had no
immediate reply, he promised to take the matter under
advisement and get back to CDA with a more substantive
response.
