(U) Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Vitus Njiku, head of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' United Nations Security
Council Unit on February 14. Mr. Njiku said that all states
should be concerned with the recommendation of the
International Atomic Energy Agency as it is a technical
board. Mr. Njiku also said that the Government of Tanzania
had no objection to the processing of Iran's uranium in
Russia so long as it is processed for nuclear energy purposes
only.
