1. (SBU) Econoff met April 28 with Moroccan Ministry
of Foreign Affairs (MFA) official Mr Azouz Aboulkouroum
to discuss terrorism finance-related issues and to
deliver reftel demarche concerning the designation of
four members of Jemaah Islamiyah.



2. (SBU) Aboulkouroum was receptive to demarche and
confirmed that information provided will be
expeditiously distributed to the relevant government
agencies. He requested that USG provide more specific
information, if possible, on actionable funds and/or
financial assets present in Morocco. Econoff explained
that Post is unaware of any specific accounts at this
time, but assured Aboulkouroum that he would be
contacted should specific information become available.
