1. POLOFF delivered reftel points March 23 to Minister Jorge
Luis Gomez in the MFA's Office of International Organizations.
2. Gomez said that the had spoken with Argentina's UN Mission
regarding our draft resolution on the rehatting of the
African Union Mission in Sudan. He said that Argentina had
no problems with the text in general and said the GOA would
support an extension of AMIS' mandate as well as the call to
"prepare the modalities for transition."
