MFA's Director for Strategic Policy, Cristian Istrate,
PolMilOff raised elimination of ISAF caveats. PolMilOff
underscored U.S. appreciation for Romanian leadership on the
important issue of eliminating caveats, further stating that
the U.S. would welcome any suggestions Romania might have to
persuade other ISAF contributors to remove their caveats.
Istrate promised to review our points on this topic and to
share them with other MFA officials who handle ISAF matters.
