(SBU) On April 10, Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Johan
Maricou, Belgian MFA Director for Asia. Maricou had no
specific comment on statements made at the 2006 Burma/Myanmar
Forum, and said Belgium would follow the EU common position
on Burma. He indicated he would follow up with Embassy with
any additional information or points.
