1. Embassy Bridgetown received the following diplomatic note from
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Labour of the
Commonwealth of Dominica

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Labour of the
Commonwealth of Dominica presents its compliments to the Embassy of
the United States of America and has the honour to request Agrement
of the Government of the United States of America for the
appointment of Mr. Julian N. Johnson as Non-Resident Ambassador of
the Commonwealth of Dominica to United States of America, to replace
His Excellency Dr. Nicholas J. O. Liverpool.

The Ministry has the further honour to enclose herewith the
Curriculum Vitae of Mr. Julian N. Johnson.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Dominica
avails itself of this opportunity to renew the assurances of its

Over thirty-eight (38) years of experience as an


officer in the Public Service of Dominica and as a
part-time teacher in the Department of Government at
the University of the West Indies on all campuses. Experience spans
a spectrum of diplomacy (accompanying Prime Ministers and Ministers
at regional and international meetings and conferences in the major
bilateral and multilateral fora) public management, teaching and
human resource development, consumer protection, supplies control
and disaster management, legal consultancy and research in
Constitutional and Administrative Law, including the jurisdiction
and function of the major oversight Institutions of the
Constitution.

Interests: Agriculture/Gardening, swimming, sailing, table tennis.
