SUBJECT: FRAUDULENT US PASSPORT INFORMATION FAXED TO
BARBADOS
1. On 05/16/2006, Police Constable Taylor of the Royal
Barbados Police Force requested assistance from the
Embassy Bridgetown regarding verification of two fax
photo copies of US passports received by a local travel
agent.
2. According to Constable Taylor, his office was
requested to verify and investigate two photocopies of
US passports faxed to a travel agent along with Credit
Card numbers in order to secure travel reservations.
When the faxes were received, the travel agent
immediately notified police because prior to the faxes
being sent, no one contacted the agency to request
travel arrangements from the agency.
3. The fax copies of US Passports #344098433 bearing
the name of Jackson Curtis, 10/08/1948 and US Passport
#240804190 bearing the name of Adeyemi Alabi,
06/16/1965 were checked by Bridgetown Fraud Prevention
Manager and ARSO via CA database indices. There are no
records associated by name or passport number as being
issued by the US Government.
4. On 06/09/2006, ARSO Bridgetown entered the
fraudulent US Passports and subject's names into TECS
as a precaution should anyone attempt to travel abroad
utilizing these fraudulent passports.
5. Point of contact on this matter is Special Agent
Sean A.M. Nedd, ARSO, at (246) 436-4950, extension
