1. (SBU) Per reftel, post passed non-paper and draft
Initiative concerning the U.S.-CARICOM Initiative to Combat
Illicit Trafficking in Arms (CITIA) to CEO Lawrence
Sylvester of the Belize Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)
and to North American Desk Officer Aisha Borland.



2. (SBU) Borland noted that Belize has been a supporter of
this initiative in CARICOM in the past, and expects to
continue support on the issue in the future. She indicated
that Minister of Foreign Affairs Godfrey Smith and Belize's
Ambassador to the U.S. Lisa Shoman will attend the upcoming
U.S.-CARICOM Ministerial on March 21-22.
