(C) We contacted MFA Under Secretary Bidan, September 10, to
make reftel points. Bidan was noncommittal in response. As
Vice President Tarik Al-Hashimi will attend the Havana
Summit, we also contacted his assistant Krikor Daraghopian.
Daraghopian replied that VP Al-Hashimi (a Sunni) had no
disagreement with the USG on the Iranian nuclear program and
would surely support our views on the Summit final document.
