1. (C) Per reftel A, post transmitted subject demarche to
MFA contacts on July 21. MFA recipients included Secretary
General Charalambos Rocanas and Ambassador Fotis Xydas of the
D1 Directorate of the UN, International Organizations and
Disarmament.
2. (C) D1 officials responded on July 22, saying they had no
comment beyond FM Bakoyannis' position that she agrees with
the U.S. and the GAERC that an Iran UNSCR had to be under
Chapter VII (reftel B). GoG has repeatedly delivered a
strong message to GoI, encouraging them to accept the P5 1
incentive package (reftel C, D, and E).
