International Organizations Director Verros April 27. Verros
said he was unaware that the timetable for a vote on the G-77
resolution was so tight, and said he would immediately
instruct the Greek PermRep in New York to vote against the
measure, if it came to the floor. He noted that the U.S.
proposal to look at an alternative EU draft resolution was a
smart tactic.
